just moved here in SD looking for performance shops
what kind of shops are you looking for? all out performance, accesories/body kits. there are many shops in the area people can suggest and each have their own specialties.

most to all of the san diego "performance shops" sucks ***. with a few exceptions of some shops being marginal. not great, but not that bad either. for my experience, when you're a first time customer, they'll treat you well. but, as soon as you're a repeat customer, the customer service goes down hill from there.
If your looking for best performance/best bang for your buck I suggest you go with HRD...they just got an actual shop, if you ask around San Diego these two guys have put out the best work in my opinion as far as ecu's, headwork, motor installs, wiring, diagnostics etc...Hit me in the privates if you want their phone number (home) they have been doing stuff out of their garage since 93-94 but now that they have opened their own shop im sure you will be hearing alot about them. Pann isn't great. it is one of the worst, IF NOT THE WORST shop in San Diego.
HRD? is this shop started up by the guys that are/was from infamous?

yes sir...toby and kivey are going to put out the fastest street cars in SD I guarantee it, of course as far as R&D and pretty bling bling parts you cant beat AEBS but the bad thing about those guys is that if you dont have 10g's to drop there they dont take you serious...plus their dyno tuning sucks.
