I need tips on how to spray paint a car. It's not terrible, but its uneven in places and can sometimes be noticeable in broad day light.

Spray paint dries before it starts hitting the panel. You are going to need to figure out a way to paint when its at its coldest outside as it slows the drying effect and allows it to melt in better.

 

use high quality paint and multiple coats. good prep work

Spray paint starts drying as soon as it leaves the nozzle so by spraying in cooler temps it gives it longer before it dries to melt together.

 

if your a noob I surgest buy the iwata lph 400, good for clear and metallic, its a nice and slow gun, so it means, can you spray slow with out dripping the clear, I recommend buying this online course, learn auto body and paint.com, that's where I learnt to paint, its shows you everything, good luck

 

I can tell you the 400 sucks, I have a Harbor Fright gun that spray better then that. Only good Iwata is a Super Nova, or a Sata 3k-4k
