My TL has had this issue where the navigation screen and deck would short or something when the car is off, and would have to have me re-enter the codes. It use to be like once every few months but now its almost daily. I also noticed once that when it did happy my remote access to the car doesnt work. Like I cant arm or lock the car with the remote. I opened the door with the key and closed the door then the remote seems to work again. Any ideas?

 

That is super strange. Has anything happened to your car in the past? Modifications, damage etc...? It sounds like something is losing power when the B-can goes to sleep, but I've never seen any issues like that.

 

Other than my TPMS doesn't work anymore and gives error message, but think its unrelated. I want to change the battery incase its low. but highly doubt it because the engine fires right up when you turn the key every time. Theres no mods, absolutely stock. No accidents.

 

There's something happening with your charge harness. My bud had this happen on his Type S and his charge harness was pretty much gone to hell.

 

Newbie question but where exactly is the charge harness located?

 

forgot to mention and not sure if its the same system but when the navigation shorts, it also resets the travel log on the gauge by the steering wheel.

 

New? Used? When did this start happening? Did you make any attempts to remediate the issue? Were any modifications done to the vehicle?
