Default 93 Del Sol D16Y8 Blown Head Gasket

So basically title says it all..car temperature would rise at a complete stop then go back to the halfway tick marker once I get going then repeats over and over again.Radiator fan doesn't run either and also some brown fluid running down the sides. I'm asking for any suggestions if this is a blown head or something else. But I need the parts list for the D16Y8 so I can buy the correct parts cause I just plan on changing everything out including the water pump, fuel injectors and all that good stuff. And currently in Augusta,GA due to orders so if anyone from the area let me know.

That's just a leaking valve cover gasket...those are easy to replace.

And the reason why your engine is overheating at a stop is because your fans are not coming on. You need to get your fans running again

Okay thanks.I just checked my oil and oil cap and it doesn't look milky to me from all the forums I've been reading all day. And do you happen to know how to get those working again??

Thank you so much! One more question is this also the reason why my radiator isn't taking any fluids from the reservoir??

Sounds like you have air in your coolant system. Take the radiator cap off and run the engine up to operating temperature. Air bubbles should start releasing through the radiator fill hole when the thermostat opens. Add coolant accordingly after the air pockets have been released.

As Charger said you need to get the fan working. First thing is to test the fan itself by jumping it directly to the battery. Remove the plug on the fan and attach a wire to each side the run them to the battery. If it turns on the fan is good. After that you may need a fan switch which is located on the thermostat housing.

For bleeding the cooling system I reccomend the spill free funnels. They work good and will bring the air up higher. See link below.
