Default Boosted d16y8

I recently boosted my del sol with a d16y8 and it seems im running into almost every problem and need help and advice.
We put the turbo on (a friend and I) and it blew a head gasket before I even left the drive way to test drive it.
so we put new rings and rod bearings in while the motor was out.
Put it together test drive it a for about 5 minutes got on it a little, I think I lifted the head because another head gasket blown..
Got apr head studs and another gasket. Running nice and strong test drive it again park it lastnight at my buddy's house we've been doing all the work at and I wake up today and he says its smoking and running like a raped ape...
Anyone have any ideas on what this May be?
And also should I keep dumping money into it or just go back stock and sell the turbo kit.
Thanks in advance 👍

Where?
The ecu is tuned to same everything but I was running 8lb where my buddy was running 13
I mean I do agree it needed to be retuned but why would it most likely blow a head gasket again!?

You're doing shotty, halfassed word, and you aren't doing it correctly. You shouldn't have driven the car without having it tuned. You shouldn't have re-used the stock head bolts. You shouldn't have done a head gasket without having the head and deck checked for trueness. Did you even use proper torque specs when you did the head gasket job?

Yes torqued head down to specs.
What should I do to get it right. I'm new to the honda game and being hands on with working on motors and learning as I go.

Stop calling it a "game", for one. Kids play games. I already told you what you should do. Buy, borrow, or download a factory service manual (for your engine, you'd want a 96-00 Civic FSM), and follow the procedures there for replacing a head gasket. If you managed to blow 3 head gaskets in a row, you're obviously doing something wrong there.
