This boarders on bench racing, but I will answer the question.

Without a turbo, it will be a lot harder.

Skip the LS and put in a B20 or a B20VTEC.
11.5~12.5:1 compression pistons
Close gear trans
Toda Rep headers
Upgraded fuel system
Ultra Street intake manifold
Velocity stack head light
2.5"+ exhaust
A good tune.

Should aim for somewhere around 200 wHP and be good to go. There are a lot of B20V guys running in the low 12s. Without a turbo, you have to build the motor. No way around it. And displacement is king in NA.

And gut the hell out of the car, if you decide not to go the vtec route.

^High 12s on slicks with a welded diff. Not saying it isn't quick, but 11.99 and below will require more power than that.

Even after he swapped the B20 it was a high 12 second car with slicks at 1750 lbs. His 60' wasn't as good as it could be, according to him. I'd say to break into the 11s you'll need at least the high comp B20 over the low comp one he was running.

EDIT: Dark_Teg, you weren't running that NA though, were you? That's sort of his question altogether.

I run mid to low 13s in my LS powered DA9 2560 w/me. No clue on the horsepower, but I am now doing a similar engine build to the link included in this post. I myself am not looking to jump straight into the 11s, wanna run through the 12 bracket first myself. No sense in having an 11second car if you are a 13 second driver haha.
