K swap in 87' civic hb si?
I have recently gone off my path of accords and picked up a nice little 87' civic hatch si. Don't get me wrong I love the 91 horses and how well it gets up and goes but I am really looking to push the car hard and fast. Would a K swap work?
Thanks,

can it work? yes
will it be a ton of custom parts, time, effort, etc.? also yes.
Unless you have some specific need for a K series, i'd avoid it. it's cheaper/easier to go with a B series setup and you can beat on them just as hard and make relative power for less money.

Once it becomes a full out project and not a daily driver I am wanting to do this. Not only to have the extra speed but I want to be one of the only ones with it done. I'm just looking for someone who has already finished the project or is currently working on it. I'm very patient and can deal with a simple D16 swap for now until the big project begins.

Got any plans for your stock motor? I'm looking for a d15a3 to rebuild.
