Ok i had this working the other day, i un installed the program while i was clearing out allot from my laptop. Now i cannot connect the s300 to my pc. I am using windows 7.

Things i tried

-Cheking in device manager / no usb drivers are there
-Update drivers / wont work error code comes up
-Tried older version of smanager
-I can hear the usb connect to computer
-Stays in offline mode
-Green light is on

Any help or suggestions ? should i update my windows ?...

not as much traffic as here i need a reply stat. i already posted there..

i know my usb drivers are working i can install others but it wont install the s300 ones.

Can you try another USB port? Doesn't look like its being detecting.

 

all 3 dont work for smanager but all 3 work for other programs..

 

my laptop died while it was plugged into the s300 but i highly doubt that was a issue

 

Have you tried uninstalling the drivers, different usb cable?

 

You never know.....if I knew I'm going to be doing something critical on my laptop I always have my adapter plugged in. I"m not sure what you mean by it died on you but I'm just throwing it out there.

 

The battery on the laptop died after i uploaded to s300 and had the car running.

I will be removing all faded sections and trying again. Hopefully this works and others can try it out i will report later.

 

i ended up getting the driver installed and was able to datalog. Thanks much for the reply and help.
