I am so frustrated right now trying to get these hoses off... even withthe clamps moved down I can't get them off...

I'm sure everyone will say not to, but just throwing it out there...

 

On my 97 ex, I didnt take off the hoses. I just undid the bolts, and let it hang. Theres a little bit of slack. Then i sprayed the inside out with carb cleaner. Worked much better afterwards.

 

drain the radiator a little that way u wont leak coolant when u get them off

 

Take the hoses off before unbolting the IACV. Slide the clamps off and then twist the hose gently with pliers where it is on the IACV nozzle on both sides. Twist it a few more times while sliding it off. Those hoses are tough material and won't break or tear unless you muscle them too much.
