Default weird coolant leak with new hoses

hey guys i have this weird leak thats been going on for about 3 months. ok lets start off by saying its a 98 ek htach with a b20 and a mishimoto aluminum radiator. ive replaced all the coolant hoses and used new screw type clamps. the leaks will go away for a few days and then come bak, it leaks where the bottom hose connects to the radiator and sometimes the top hose on both sides. any ideas what it could be? i was thinking either the autozone brand hoses are cheap or i overtightened them( which i dont think i did) ive gone through 3 sets of hoses in the last 3 months.

any help is greatly appreciated

I've seen that before with some swaps that use the original radiator. The bigger coolant hose for the bigger motor is sometimes too big for the little original radiator outlet. If you can't find a hose that fits both ends, you can cut off a piece of tubing that has the same O.D. as your current hose's I.D. and stick it in the end of the hose to reduce the size. Clean the mating surfaces of both hoses well.

ur thinking the problem is sqishing the hose right? well the mishimoto radiator has bigger outlet and inlet so i dont think thats the problem. and im using gsr hoses which are the correct hoses to use for that swap.

hmm ill check on the cleaning up the surface where the hoses go but wen i bought the mishimoto radiator i also got new hoses soim guessing there wasnt anything there cuz the radiator is new

Either try changing the radiator cap and/or check the system pressure. If the pressure isn't above normal, the hoses are the correct size and it's still leaking, try a different brand of hose.
