I recently purchased a honda logo and I've tried to research as much as I can I know Toby did a d16 swap with a jrsc and Neilvtec has one as a daily.

But could anyone direct me in the path of a build thread, I'm after the ts bodykit as the normal one lags perzaz, also some coilover I know bc do some but I want to keep my budget low as the car only cost me best part of £400

I have always wanted a ej9 for my first car but then I don't see the point in buyer the insurance for one when these things look so fun and Fast with a d16 I'm the future, so I have this now as my first car as it's very cheap to insure.

Maybe find out what chassis it is first, like it could be an older civic chassis with the logo body on top of it, that way engine swaps and suspension components might be a lot easier than you think, worth a shot, plus why not go b16/18 if your going to swap the motor? The d16 is quite slow compared....

 

The Logo is the precursor to the Fit. It appears to have its own chassis, being a supermini. You're gonna be on your own for any kind of modifications to that engine.

 

Yeah we don't get these in Australia, if you want to make it faster why don't you just bolt on a turbo and run low boost? 5psi or something, stock internals should happily hold that for a while! Just don't tell your insurance company 😜 and I'm sure you can find lowered springs pretty cheap? That should keep you happy for a while!

 

I haven't found any lowering springs as of yet, I have no idea where to look as there such rare cars for upgrade parts, I've been told japanyahoo auctions have ts bumpers and spoilers so I'm off over there!
I've always thought about a turbo but 1. It's a 1.3 no real gains 2. D16 would be much cheaper and reliable

I've heard the b16 is a no go on these cars, to much work for so much money so d16 is my plans on the future.

 

dude i had to make full custom for myne nothing aftermarket at all for them

 

Best bet for parts is going to be from JDM imports out of NZ. Not that you're paying much attention to this thread two years later.
