don't valet keys not have the rubber/plastic on them? thats how they were on my toyota. the originals had the rubber/plastic grip and the valet key was just all metal.

Re: Original Keys? (ReggieGrip)
The best thing for you to do is go to you local dealer and they will cut a fresh new Honda key from you VIN number. Doing it like this usually is the better method since if they make a copy of your your old worn out key it may not work good.

Thank you!
If you want a Honda key just go to the dealer. The keys there are $1.47, no need to spend $10 buying them online and waiting for them to get shipped to you then having to go get them cut.

Re: Original Keys? (BlackHXCoupe)
Go to honda to get them cut. Its $5.00 for the key and the cut from your vin number. Bring your registration or anything else you have with you because you have to prove its your car.
Valet keys have the round top, regular keys are the squarish top. That is only so you can tell a difference between them. You could have both square tops or both round tops. There is just one groove cut or uncut that makes the valet key not work anywhere but the ignition.

Re: Original Keys? (l00pyl00)
those keys arent valet keys man, they are blank keys.
my valet key was rounded at the rubber part, and it was a tad shorter and missing 2 notches<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by BlackHXCoupe »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Aren't those the Valet keys? </TD></TR></TABLE>
