hey guys quick question, iv got buddy club adjustable cam gears that came with my b16a swap. I'm having some very weak acceleration issues and I'm going to be setting the timing and everything tomorrow. Which orientation of adjustment is going to put it at oem tdc? Thanks in advance

 

We aren't psychic, we can't see what the settings are at. We are just on the Internet after all. Either post some pictures or be WAY more descriptive.

 

sorry, good point. just figured somebody on here new the gears enough to explain how they were made to be adjusted.

 

One of the Engineers themselves could be on here and STILL wouldn't be able to tell you which way to move the gear. There is no telling if they advanced or retarded each cam... so I can't say turn it left or right because when it comes to cars people do some CRAZY ****. Count all the marks and put it in the middle, it is pretty self explanatory. As long as you have factory or near factory cams you can go back to 0* / 0* but if they are aggressive cams you need to know the V2V / P2V clearances first.
