2002 Accord SE 4 Door. What I have now is 2 rear doors that open fine from the inside but not from the outside. The handle is basically limp when you pull it up. This happened I am almost positive because of my kids popping up the door handle or pulling up on it too hard to get in the back. My driver's side door did it first a while back but now it has happened to the passenger rear too. Just a pain to have to open both from the inside all of the time.

DO I need to replace the outside handles completely or is there something I can check inside the door panel that may have simply come loose? Just not sure where to start. I have had the door panels off but could not see any issue at least not to me.....

 

There is a little white clip on the rod that connects the outside handle the rhe actual mech.. these clips break all the time...

Start by beating the kids. Mine did the same **** but broke the outside handle yanking it before it unlocked, thus requiring 5x more tries to unlock while they rage on the handle.
