Knock sensor?
Have a h23a that is bogging a little at 2-3000 rpm. Possibly an overactive knock sensor?
Any way to check its working/not giving false positives to the ECU?
Id rather not have to take it out if i dont have to as ive heard theyre easily breakable and are in an awkward place
cheers

egr has been blocked off with a gasket that stops flow. EGR is still connected (however disconnecting it throws no code after a 15 min drive either)
I plan to clean ports and re instate EGR at some point but this problem occurs with EGR completely blocked off.

Egr works from 1500-3000 rpms. A stock ecu would think the egr is working and would allow egr gas to push through but with it blocked off it would have the wrong fuel map. Look at the ecu and report back what the ecu number is.
cleaned egr ports, seems to be accelerating nicely now. wasnt too clogged but probably enough to cause dodgy running. just paranoid about getting brass swarf in the inlet from removing the plugs. think i got most of it though
