I ordered a bottom end gasket/seal set for my gsr and I noticed the rear main seal has the spring ring inside but not the metal ring, and also it is just a tad bit thinner in width. Everything else that came in kit is fine. Just need to know if I take the old metal ring and install in the new gasket and is the width difference safe to install?
