Default The 450 DSM Blues BLUES.

So hey everyone. I just traded motors with a guy my boosted d16 for his b16. Well I decided to keep my harness and he keep his. Well when we wired the Resistor box in we get no start. 12V gets the 3 wires that aren't continuous to the injectors. The injectors get wired into the 4 black wires. The red wire on the resistor box gets wired into the 4 wires that are included to the 12v wire. No start. It hits for just a second then doesn't keep running. What is the problem here? I never had problems with this in my car. The only difference is he has a JDM ecu.

Those will flood the engine. That won't fire without changes in the ECU itself. Can't use a JDM ECU on 450cc DSM injectors.. you have to actually "tune" for those, or have a basemap to fire these.

It has been tuned. Made 311hp 247tq on 19 psi. We didn't know if there was a chip read error between USDM ecu and JDM ecu.

couldn't tell you on that. most here don't try to tune on the JDM ECU, so that will inhibit your ability to get assistance.

Update* got the car to run. However It was idling very rough. CEL flashed IACV which is one of the wires in the power block however we deleted the power block and have just wires. How do we clean up the idle and clear that IACV code?

You hook up the iacv and go tune the car properly

-_- the engine has been dyno tuned in a different car. Everything including fuel pump chip and injectors was swapped. IACV is plugged in. It came out of my car running just fine. I put it in his car now it won't idle very long and throws an IACV code. If you rapidly touch the IACV dead end plug wire to the 12v dead end plug power wire over and over the car stays running and throws no code but if you hold the wire to the 12v power source it dies. If you don't touch the wire to the power source the The car runs like **** because the IACV isn't getting power. But the plug IN the IACV is plugged up. It's the wire at the dead end plug that is causing problems.

Last time I checked the jdm ecus were all surface mount stuff compared to the usdm ecus that weren't. most if not all of the jdm OBD1 ecus don't support "chipping" due to technolgy and PCB differences
