Default getting it ready for swap

Ok so I'm a Newby to honda lifestyle..I just got a 98 civic dx, stock to the bone...I want more ponies not a drag I just don't like being left behind. I wanna know what recomendations can u get on engines swap, Im thinking of a b16, oh and what can I do so I can start getting it ready before I get the cash for the swap..thanks

This is in the wrong section. This section is for Engine Management and Tuning EMS questions.

Either way this has been done literally thousands of times. There are countless write-ups on the subject. Read them.
