Condensation In Headlight Assembly
My left housing has condensation and a little bit of water in it. It has been there for a while now and isnt drying out. Im guessing that the seal is not tight. Has anyone had this problem before. Does the headlight housing come out pretty easily? Im thinking of taking it out and then resealing even though I have no idea how to do that? Any suggestions? Thanks!
IF you take out the rear light that has water in it You will see the gasket the should be protecting from water. If you see that the gasket is dried out and brittle then replace, OR if its torn replace (duhh) Other wise there is not much else to cause the leakage Unless the light itself if craked or broken...
That Gasket is a dealer Item btw.

I had water in my head lights at one point. What I did was take out the bulb over night and let air it air dry overnight. It pretty much dried up completely I hasnt seemed to be a problem since. also, if you leave your lights on while driving(even during the day), the heat will help evaporate some of the moisture. HTH
Take the bulb out, get a hair drier, point the hair drier in there for an hour or so... Check the integrity of your seals... put it back together!
That's the easy fix.

If the car is still under warranty, Acura will replace it w/ what should be no problem. I've been down this road, and rather than dick around w/ it I let Acura replace it. That's what the warranty is for.
