Hi guys,

I have a 95 accord lx. I just recently swapped a f23 in. When we did this we forgot the spedo was still connected and, thus, broke it. At first we had it working. Then we hit a bump and it no longer works.

We replaced the vss, and went to a junk yard and got a new cluster--still no luck.

We lifted the car and with the vss off, turned the wheels and found that the drive link is moving.

I tried to find that nice little flowchart from awardspace but its not up right now.

Any ideas?

 

Did you check fuse number 1 in the under dash panel? Should be a 10a, when the vss was damaged it may have blown the fuse

 

I will double check. I used a cheap fuse checker, but I found none. If this is not the reason, what else could it be?

 

Other than that I would triple check the wiring, I mean you've replaced the vss and the cluster so wiring and fuses are all that are left. A loose pin is all it takes

Is it okay if the orange wire pulses between zero and one volt. Does this implies a defective vss? The other wires seemed fine.
