Icon7 Turbo setup for 98spec b18c on e85 in a 91 crx hf

Have a the complete ITR swap in my crx and was wondering what good setups and advice people have for running a safe turbo setup on a stock b18c. Don't need a ton of boost and prefer a smaller quicker spooling turbo. Have heard of people getting great results out of running e85 and it is readily available here around San Diego. I don't daily drive it but do occasional track days and auto x events. I would love to have it eat mustangs and corvettes in the straights though thanks in advance

Your budget will dictate the recommendations. Do you have $1500 to drop on the turbo alone? Or are y

Overrated. It's not cheap to have a reliable turbo setup. Just look around, usually the turbo'd cars hanging with "mustangs on the straights" are the ones overheating and broken.

For something like that, a modest supercharger setup would be better.

Yeah I'm not particularly scared by a larger budget. But don't want to spend in nessisary money. Maybe around $3k

I hear you, it's already pretty close though, the type r in that little car really moves. I just need a little more to cross that line from fast to a bit of a handful. Have been thinking around 6 psi properly tuned on e85

I have read quite a few articles on turbo vs supercharger and you can make way more power on a turbo but for my small needs you might be right, wouldn't have to fuss with clearing a turbo exhaust manifold, swapping radiators and exhaust. Any kits you would recommend?
