Hey guys I'm new to HT, I have a 93 civic coupe with a d16z6 and the stock p28. It runs great, but it seems to run a little rich and If I leave it in gear to slow down as like going down a hill, my cel will illuminate. when I check it it is a code 1. I've tried a new sensor and checked my connections and all is good. I don't know where to start from here

How is the timing of your engine . .. valve timing and dizzy timing both. I would start there. check the valve timing first, and possibly retard the dizzy a few degrees and see if you still get the MIL. was the sensor brand new that you tried?

 

Mechanical timing is dead on, haven't checked dizzy timing due to lack of timing light. The sensor I tried was a new denso. I will get my hands on a timing light and start by setting that and go from there
