Power steering delete?
Would it do any damage to the steering rack if I took off the power steering belt and drive it like that? 1996 honda accord with the f22b1 vtec
And if so is there any easy way to convert my car to non power steering on a budget

Remove the pump, reservoir and all the hoses. Simply loop the input/output hose on the rack and make sure the fluid is full too keep the rack lubed.
and in two years you'll think..wtf was I thinking? haha it works for the ascetic people, but functionality, no. The power gained isn't worth the time or waste of the ps system
Really the only benefits to deleting power steering pump is for the looks in the engine bay and the added feel for handling. You feel a lot more response through the steering wheel. Deleting PS is not for power gains it's more for handling! Power steering is for lazy and old people!
Add a coil over suspension with a Poly Urethane bushing kit and a set of 50 series tires and you will feel every grain of sand on the road. With both your hands and your A$$.
Not to mention it will add speed to your corning capabilities.

Do not do it. You will be a safety hazard on the road. Power steering is a marvelous invention. If you want more power, get a faster car, or a better engine. This car was designed for fuel economy and reliability.
Eh, I don't know if I'd call it a safety hazard. Once you're rolling it really isn't difficult to steer.
I found that manual actually responds better than PwS at speeds. Only minor issue I felt is when you are going slow, and even that's not bad. Also there is no fear of it failing when it's already gone....lol When you are used to PwS and then all of a sudden it fails..... that can be hazardous.
I grew up driving a 66 Chevelle that didn't come with power steering - so driving an Accord without ps would not even be close.
One day I might add PS and power brakes to the Chevelle but then I'm not sure I would be able to drive it
. I'm so use to the manual steering and brakes that it would throw me off.
