Default Anyone have experience w/ the Eibach Multi Pro R2?

I've done plenty of research and read many people's reviews, but I'm looking to get some personal and experienced insight of these coilovers on a Honda platform, preferably an actual ITR, though I'm not picky.

Has anyone run stiff springs on them? I currently run 14kf / 16kr Koni/GC on my 2000 PY ITR for lapping and time attack, can the dampers handle it? Thoughts on how they would perform with 225/45/15 Nitto NT01's? Trying to figure out if the cost is justifiable since they're around $3000 for a set. My setup is fine now, but wondering if I could get even more control with a different setup.

Thanks for looking!

So I have two sets:

97':
450lbF/400lbR
USDM ITR FSB
Mugen 26mm RSB
Kingpin Machine front lower compliance
Kingpin Machine/HPD front lower control arms
Mugen RTA
OEM otherwise
Hankook RS3's

These are a recent purchase. I bought them used from a member on here in June. I have ~1k street miles and one track event on this setup. The roads out here are awful but these handle them very well. On track I'm very happy with the car's setup. I purchased this car in September 13' and have five track days and put 13k on the car. Throughout that time I have have refreshed all bushings in the car (Except UCA's) with new OEM/Kingpin Machine/Mugen bushings and tweaked the car for my driving style. It took some effort with the 26mm RSB but as of two weeks ago I am thrilled with the car's current setup. It's a blast on track now.

98':
650lbF/750lbR
USDM ITR FSB
JDM ITR 23mm RSB
Kingpin Machine front lower compliance
PCI RTA
OEM otherwise
RA1's/RE-11's

Purchased March 2013. These units replaced my longstanding PIC 12/14k Select R3's that I had owned since 07'. This car was always primarily a weekend/HPDE focused car. I have relocated (hence two cars) so this car is solely used for my one ~1-2x trips each year back east for ITR Expo and other track weekends with friends. So far I have been very happy with the purchase. I have ~5k street miles going to and from events and have a handful of track weekends at Road America and Virginia International Raceway with this setup. I drove from South Carolina to Wisconsin and back on this setup for ITR Expo 14 @ Road America. I was thrilled at how well the spring rates handled the roads. All of this in a Recaro SPG seat/rollbar/harnesses so I'm happy to report no neck/back issues.

I'm happy to go into more detail on any of the items above. FYI these won't cost $3k. A quick google search yields them as low as ~$2100ish online. Even with worn/old street tires I remember the first time I tracked on R2's. Even stepping up from a quality set of coilovers these made quite the impression on me.

Amazing stuff! Great response, thank you! I remember seeing Smitdog at Expo13. I should've spoken to him then. If I can find a good price, I think I may need to "upgrade"

I'm happy to help. I sadly won't be able to make it out to ITR Expo 14.5 @ Gingerman over Labor Day or I would offer a test drive. Marketing hype aside, I was really impressed with the first time I got behind the wheel of my friend's ITR with R2's. It really sold me.

Where are you located? I can try and give you more assistance with someone local with a set of R2's. The ITR community always impresses me.

It is also worth noting this are made and serviced in the USA. For some people that is a huge selling point on both design/manufacturing, but for me it is really assuring to know I can get these serviced/repaired in the USA if/when are there are any issues. All the Eibach guys I have met at SEMA, track days, and other events have been super approachable and very helpful both in person and through emails with questions. Some of their staff also setup and run the HFF Challenge which is awesome. I'm now friends with a lot of their staff as a result.

I won't be making it to Gingerman either, even though my car is on the poster lol. Expo14 at Road America was definitely a blast though - the ITR community is part of the reason I try and make it to Expo every year. My suspension held up nicely there on the smooth highspeed track.

I'm actually located in Toronto, Canada ... and I don't know anyone running the R2's. I see a mix of Koni/GC, KW V3's, HSD's, Teins, and Moton for the people that can aroud here lol. I have a suspicion they would work very well on the tracks we have here.

Ryan's response pretty much sums it up!

The R2's are very versatile with a good range of adjustment which gives a nice window before requiring a revalve to get the most out of the kit. We have guys that have taken it to the limit with 900lb springs on the off the shelf valving. I personally run 700f/750r on my R. No Aero, 225/45/15 NT01's.

Koni /GC is tried and true and is a great setup, but having the ability to fine tune your compression and rebound on a 46mm mono-tube setup is certainly a step in the right direction.

Jackson dropped 2 seconds off his lap times when switching over from a custom valved GC/Koni setup to R2's on his E46 with the same spring rates. I spent a lot of time in that car and the difference is quite noticeable.

You don't know anyone currently running the r2's. But you do know someone that will be running them soon
