Ground Control Spring Rate Suggestions for my set up. (EK)
I know there has been 1 million topics on this but I dont seem to find the info I want. I do plan on calling GC in a few days when its time to order. This is my current set up;
2000 Civic CX
Koni/Neuspeed Yellow Adjustables (currently set @ 1/2 way)
ITR OEM Springs (on lowest ring perch)
ASR Subframe Kit w/ ITR 22 mm rear swaybar
Omni Power LCAs (bling, but had to add it)
Front 99-00 Si Swaybar and LCAs
ITR 5-lug Brake Swap
Mugen Front Upper Strut Brace
Tires are 205/50/16 (Not a track tire. Basic street-mileage type.)
I'm not knocking the set up I have. Car handles well, would like something a lil more aggressive for mountain backroads and the occasional Auto-X for FUN. This car is daily driven (75% anyways).
I am looking to lower the car about 1.25 to 1.5 max. I will be installing adjustable camber kits for the front and rear w/ a good alignment as needed.
My gut feeling is that 350F/350R should be suffiecient w/ the larger swaybars. Should be enough to make a practical change that I can feel. I am open to suggestion.

Re: (quicksilverej6)
Have you had experience with multiple spring rates?
Since you drive it a lot, I would go with 400/400 tops. I have 320/250 and love it, but it could be a little stiffer!

They suggest 380F / 430R.
I am also buying the new upper mounts that allow more shock travel.</TD></TR></TABLE>
that's what I would recommend, and even better that GC themselves recommended it...let us know how it is compared to your current setup..

Re: (808_si)
380/430 is what GC recommended to me as well with simular set-up when I was considering Koni/GC
Now I have Buddy Club coilovers with 560F/400R and I will be getting rid of the 560 for 375. So i'll be 400/375 and wouldn't go stiffer. I would actually go alittle softer still if I was going Koni/GC
350/375 combined with the ASR 22mm rear sway should be good. But add some good tires too, like Azenis RT-615

1 to 1.5" drop, simply not needed, "save....your money" (ING guy)

Yeah I'd hate to spend $240 on something that isnt getting any use. The drop isnt really that low, certainly not enough to blow out a Koni (i wouldnt think) :\
