So i pulled a motor out of a 98 civic i bought for parts.looking closer at the motor i saw that it was a 1.6y7 block but the head is off a crx1.5x with the head code of P2A-7.my question is what is the purpose of putting this combo together?any performance gains? i dont think it was a "oh no i need a head so lets throw this on" kinda deal but u guys would know better. Also wanted to know how rare if at all this head is? I

 

A need for a running engine is the purpose. Who knows.
