93 civic skips when you first start it - Injector ???
For some reason my 93 civic skips when you first start it after sitting 8+ hours. It only last for 5-10 seconds then levels off. It has the 1.6 VTEC in it but I still have a complete 1.5 stock engine in the shop. Will the injecters from the 1.5 work in the 1.6? Also sometimes after driving 20 miles or so it may be hard to start. Spins fine but just won't catch. Has new fuel filter, plugs, wires,dist cap,rotor. Thanks for the advice.
Yes the D16Z6 and the D15B7 have the same 240cc Sauturated injectors.
If it's a D15B8, there might be an issue, I don't remember exactly but I get a niggling in the back of my mind that the B8 has smaller injectors.

Actually according to the list at HAMotorSports The Z6/B7/Z1/A6 all have 235cc while the Y8 has 240cc and the B8/Y7 have the 180cc. I suspect the Y5 would have 235cc injectors due to the same fuel requirements in normal (not vtec-e) operating mode but then again could be more like the Y7 and have 180cc.

I don't think their list is correct. The VX and CX share the same injector part number (06164-P05-A02), while the others (92-95, anyway) list 06164-P06-A02.
Still trying to map part number to cc... now I'm curious!
EDIT: I found these part numbers in the Majestic Honda parts catalog. I'm thinking they are either all the same flow rate (and just have different part numerbs due to fittings/grommets), or the CX/VX are a different part altogether. There are some VX gurus over at ecomodder.com, and the general consensus is that they are 190cc. That is my current understanding, but it's next to impossible to find a definitive answer.

Yeah just like I've always heard of the B7/A6/Z6 etc all being 240cc not 235cc.
Also of note, USDM CX (92-95 era) is the 12 valve B8 while a canadian CX (in the 92-95 era) is the 16 valve B7.
I was trying to find the the list I had come across before that showed them all as 240cc.
Would be nice to see a Honda spec sheet for the various injector part numbers....
