Ok so I bought a '93 Civic the other day for $600 and it wont start. When i got it it would spark but wasnt getting fuel. So i pulled fuel pump and found about a cm of rust coating the inside of the tank. I got the tank clean and put a new fuel pump in it. The engine fired up for about 3 seconds then died. Now im not getting any spark at all. I replaced the ICU and checked the coil for resistance and it checked out good. Still no spark. Checked the BLK/YEL wire going to the distributor for voltage and its good. Starting to get frustrated! Can someone please give me some tips on what to check for or do? As far as i know the engine is completely stock but the ECU is chiped.
