Default 2001 Accord V6 -- Is there a starter relay?

As the title says, is there an actual relay that provides service to the starter mortor itself, such that if it is unplugged the starter will not engage, but the car works as it should? I'm looking for a way to disable my car so that a teen cannot take it if they have a key... and I would like it to be a situation where the vehicle simply will not crank when the key is turned.

Or, any other method to achieve this that is easily and covertly reversible would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

there is a starter relay. it is located in the wire harness in the steering column. u can purchase a starter kill switch which is not a full alarm. when u install u have to cut the starter wire and bridge the connection. this will prevent theives from stealing ur car but if u want to restrict access to those who might already have a key ur best bet would be a alarm, just keep the key fobs hidden and without disabling the alarm no one can start it.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked all over and can't seem to find an image of where this is. Is it a pain to get to? Do you know of an image anywhere that I can use as a reference/

Thanks!

Nope.

The starter cut relay is attached to the rear of the driver's side under-dash fuse/relay box.

Thanks for all of the good information. Seems that if I pull the fuse panel cover on the left side of the dash panel and simply unplug the wiring harness that connects to that relay I get the desired result. Thanks!
