car wont start/crank. faulty starter cut?
d16z6 swap in a civic cx hatch. my car doesnt start crank.(starter is good) all accessories start, just not the engine. i have an aftermarket alarm (viper) that was put in by the previous owner. i heard that these sometimes cause problems. i heard something about disabling the starter cut (black wire with white stripe connected to ignition switch). mine had been cut, soldered onto a green wire and connected into some type of relay (put in with the alarm). would this prevent my car from starting?

if you don't have voltage at the starter, begin by bypassing the relay and seeing if it will start, this will let you know if the alarm isn't closing the relay
