Default ek hatch b series swap

Hello everyone, I have a 98 hatch cx and I wanna swap my D series with a B series. I want something reliable. Which engine and tranny will you recommend? I'm on budget so I cant spend over 3,000 with this swap.

Thank you.

Also, pro-tip: You don't have an EK.

Check your VIN stamp. You don't have an EK. You more than likely have an EJ6. Here in the world of tech, it matters.

leave it stock, it's a waste of money...even if you have an integra that came with a b-series(VTEC) it's still slow.

Yes when I was 17 I got a "b swapped" 99 civic...I owned it for all of 2 months, got my integra put a bunch of expensive hard-parker mods on it(CCW's/spoon calipers/etc). F#%k that was a waste!! I could have gotten a s2000 with all the money I put into it, so I highly recommend saving a bit and getting a real car. I still have friends who enjoy these cars, but at 19 years old I grew out of it(90's Hondas) it's your money spend it as you wish BUT I'll give my input from past experience.

Hondata does not support the J, gotta run AEM.

Most of your input sucks, just stop posting. You are usually wrong about stuff and I rarely see you contribute to a thread. You are pretty much an uninformed Grumble(he actually has knowledge and contributes when he is not pointing out idiocy).

Because I've always given advice in this subsection lol yah right... it's fun to troll just like 80% of the current users "accord what ever his name is" is the biggest troll here. You can look threw my "recent posts/threads created" most are in the integra/time attack/road race section. I barley go on here anymore anyways my post per day is WAY down.

I sold my integra a month ago actually was in my build thread.

MOAR J-SWAPPED CIVICS!!

its not trolling to want more of em floating around. Especially now that there are mass produced intake manifolds that don't require hoods being cut up

You sure the **** don't. That flashpro is for the 07-08, meaning the j35. You listed a J32 swap. Not to mention you didn't even list an ecu. Go take your sorry failed trolling as elsewhere

1. "J32 cl-s transmission TL ecu hondata"
i did list an ECU.

2. The TL ecu can be retrofitted into a 7th Gen accord to power a j30, it can be retrofitted into a 3.2 TL, or whatever you want. Put it in a 6th Gen civic, who cares? J series ecu w/ custom map will run any J engine maybe even an old distributor type J30. Paul told me he charges 1,000. About in the same ballpark as an AEM. Not nearly as cheap as chipping or swapping an ECU for this old civic chassis.

Tony, you're more of a troll than I am.

I'm sure you did. Unfortunately you didn't specify a yr.In order to swap this into an ek you can't use any ecu above 2003 because its drive by wire. So go ahead and ask you again. Explain your logic of how this flashpro is going to work on that? Let me guess, "oh with time and money anything can work". Do you have that kind of time to swap in a drive by wire setup in your civic? Seeing as how its been quite some damn time since I've seen any updates on what your plans were for your build, along with all your other so called plans that fell through the cracks, I'd say NONE.

For the record, the flash pro is ONLY for the 07-08. Any 04-06 Acura tl needs to source an ecu from 07-08 and a jumper harness. Straight from the Hondata site themselves. Thats almost another 1k for the 08 tl ecu new from the dealer. OH not to mention trying to bypass the immobilizer so thats probably another 500 to complete the wiring and getting it programmed.

If you were smart you'd realize the Op wanted something simple and fun. You decide to blabber about jswaps and flashpro like you know something.
