I'm getting a creaking noise under heavy braking from the front driver's side. The brake pads and rotors were replaced 8,000 miles ago as well as the struts and the struct mounts. The noise only occurs during braking. Nothing from turning, nothing from driving forward or reverse. Only under heavy braking. I already took the pads and rotor off to check for any unusual wear. I couldn't find anything abnormal. I also checked all the joints to see if there was any play in it while on the ground and up in the air. Nothing. I also jacked the car up with the wheel on to see if I could get any vertical or horizontal play, again nothing. Besides the obviously movement of with the steering wheel. I'm puzzled. Anything suggestions?

The car has ~83,000 miles.
