1st Gen. B16 with Gsr cams, ITR Intake manifold with stock Si TB, Spoon bal. ITR pistons, and a Jun chipped ECU, ACT clutch? What goods and bads do you think will come out with this outcome? How much power should I be expecting compared to a stock Si motor?

 

What kind of power are you trying to squeeze out of it?
Or are you looking for specific track times?

my JUN chipped GSR ecu goes to 9500 rpm, and if you try that on a stock B16 valvetrain, even with GSR cams, you will have mega problems. especially 1st gen valvetrain... ouch.

 

why would you go with a ITR intake manifold and smaller Si throttle body
why are you going to get your ecu chipped and not rev higher

 

ITR pistons=lower compression.

Not exactly a good choice. Use CTR or an aftermarket.

JUN chip with basically stock cams??? Would'nt go that rout either.

i'd get a TB with a bigger bore to let that ITR intake manifold breathe a 'lil better...

 

Why rev that high? Those cams won`t make any power after 8k.

 

reving to 10 grand on a stock SI valve-train. . . yeaup, thats a lie!

 

looks like a good Turbo setup.

 

Just let him do what he wants then. Let him learn the hard way.
