Default Clearing lights on a '93?

Can I clear my signal lights and my rear signal lights on my civic and if so how do you go about doing it?
Oh and has anyone changed the little LED's to a different color where the ac light is and the rest of the lights there?? I've heard you can do it with a soldering gun but I'm not sure.
Thanks for the info.................
