Default Problem with tail lights!!

Ok so i just got my after miarket tail lights today in the mail. I hooked them up and everything on the outer lights work fine. break lights, turn signals, hazard lights. The problem is that the inner lights on the fixture don't do anything... when i break reverse, turn signal, etc. I'm kinda nub when it comes to cars. So i guess first question would be when the hell are they suppose to turn on? and how can i fix em. thanks

some aftermarket taillights dont light up on the inner half. chances are you bought them from ebay, and ebay=low quality(generally speaking)

Even though I hate those lights, I will be the first to admit I had teezers back in the day.
But just make sure you have everything plugged in correctly and no fuses are blown.
