LS AUTO INTO 97 CIVIC HATCH
Good afternoon,
I have a 97 DX Hatch with a 01 Integra motor and a 97 Integra LS/RS/GS Auto Tranny. The engine and tranny are in the vehicle currently. There was no modification to the framerail required, for some reason I have seen many posts here that state that must be done which is false. I need someone to who has actually done the swap to give me some insight on if the EK wire harness and ECU will work for the Integra swap. I have a auto integra ECU from a 97 integra which I can use, but I dont have the wiring harness for the Integra. Anyone who has done the swap if you can give me some insight or pictures. Please only useful information.
Thanks.

The EK's engine harness is all one piece. The Integra harness is a two-piece. You will need to use the EK harness and modify it.
The Civic's ECU won't be usable for a B-series engine. You must use the Integra ECU.

1 post, and you come in here expecting us to just believe you, sign unseen.
Not how it works around here.
Also, you will absolutely need to use the Integra ECU.

So now that we have made it past that hurdle. Anyone with direct knowledge of the swap please give me some insight or if you have a wiring diagram I can use that will be helpful. Thanks.

Hint: you can upload images to the post. What engine harness are using and how did you wire up the engine, we'll start with that.
On my post im showing an image, but what are you seeing?
Please see my user profile. Picture uploaded.

See attached. You tried to hyperlink i to your gmail. All you have to do is use the forums upload image function. Respond when this is done.
Regardless you might have to swap plugs because I'm not sure if any of the transmission plugs from the civic will fit the integra transmission. You'll also need to wire in the 2 pin iacv for the b18b.

Am I reading this wrong or does it say mail.google.com?
Yes, that is correct, I attempted to link it. Im a trail user and dont have access to posting images. Noticed this in the FAQ section. If you see the profile picture the engine is in the bay. It is possible. No cutting of a framerail is required. IDK. either way. the harness is from the 97 dx. a few additional plugs from the civic tranny are laying around, but if the integra ECU is required, then any one have a diagram for this.

Dude that profile picture is stupidly small.
The civic auto harness probably only has one extra plug, the linear solenoid control. Since you have both tranny's in front of you you can verify. Please do so.

For the record, I don't want you to swap the civic sensors onto the integra. Leave them as they were and replace the plugs on the harness itself to make it fit.
Edit: Also another thing you'll need to swap in is the shifter, the integra shifter has D4,D3,D2,D1 where as the civic only has D4,D2,D1. It might not effect the drivability but if you decide that you wanna manual shift you're fucked.

If you have never attempted the swap in question, why would you post something saying it cant be done. Its possible. This was really a waste of 45 mins. This place used to house good info, but a few people just ruin it.
The main reason why I'm having your verify the amount of sensors is to minimize the amount of wiring you need to run any additional sensors? Also I said "probably" I never said it was "definitely" one additional sensor. The integra does not have a linear solenoid and I know that for a FACT. It has a kick down cable that needs to be attached to the throttlebody.
