Default 97 civic - no crank issue

I apparently jinxed myself. My civic wont start (again). Last time I replaced the positive battery terminal and it fired right up. Few days later just one click then no power. Turns out my negative cable somehow loosened up. Got it running. Next day same thing. Connections were tight, just a click then no power. I tested the battery at 12.4 volts and did not drop when cranking. I jumped the terminals on the starter and the starter turned. So I figured it was the ignition switch. I then went to grab my meter to check the ignition wire to the switch and all of a sudden I have power. The signal that the door is open started ringing. I put the wire back onto the starter and it fired right up. I turned it off/ then on, off/on no issues. Load on the battery was good with everything on 14.4 volts. I am stumped.

Possible bad ignition switch, but more details and testing are needed.
