Default Nice inboard muffler?

Here's my current setup on my CRX HF with ZC:

JDM header to cherry bomb muffler under the car out the back with some big tip on it. (no cat)

The cherry bomb sounds horrible and I was going to replace it with a canister muffler out the back, but I don't wanna redo the whole exhaust, so I just wanna replace the muffler under the car (and add a catalytic).

What kind of inline mufflers are nice? Keeping in mind that I don't like straight through mufflers like the cherry bomb and glass packs because they will not flaw as well as a free flowing muffler with baffles. Needs to be something that isn't to big or long. TIA.

So everyone here is running a rear exit muffler, nobody running an inline muffler under their car?

I saw the muffler, but it is a straight through design also. The problem with a striaght through muffler with fiberglass fill is that the fiberglass holds the heat and causes bad turbulence in the air flowing out of the muffler anbd actually causes more restriction than a free flowing muffler with baffles. I will probably just end up buying a baffle style turbo muffler off the shelf of an auto parts store.

almost the dumbest thing ever.

which flows better (ignore: .)
_._._._._._._._._

_._._._._._._._._

or
_____________
\...\...\...\...\...\
_/__/__/_/__/_

The straight through will always flow better. Best idea would be 2 straight through drilled core mufflers. louvered cour will not flow as well as drilled core.

well if your using just a glass pack, of course its gonna sounds horriable.
use a resonator under the car and then a straight through muffler at the end.

a resonator is a glass pack and a straight through muffler is also a glass pack. While chamber size (length/diameter) will change tone some what, a pair of glass packs in series will not sound uber-gay.

I just put on a tanabe racing medalion and it sounds great, comes out the right side of the car, had to cut a just like exhaust outlet in the bumper so i would look all fuct up. I like it alot, alittle custom here and there at the muffler shop but worth ever penny, also can see that cool rear sway and stabilizer bar i have.

I'll reply to everyone.

For the person who replied about a straight through muffler flowing better than a muffler with baffles... please read the post sometime after that where I explained why that is true.

Eveyone else making suggestions, thank you for your suggestions, but please read and understand my request before answering.

Sorry, I'm just not a morning person.
