Default Ign. Control Module Recommendation

Hello fellow honda-tech members. I have searched and found a lot of info about the ignition control module, but not My question is, can someone recommend a quality ICM that is not NEC or Hitachi, as they run $100+. My old original NEC had started to randomly die for a few seconds every once in a while so I bought an ICM off of Ebay and it worked for a while, now its making my tach bounce all over the place past 5k, but other than that it works ok.

thanks
Larry

so NEC or Hitachi... thats what I figured... I was going to buy another different ICM, but that would be $30 that I should just go ahead and buy the right thing... done and on its way

Just a follow up to this.
It is best just to go ahead and buy the NEC ICM if you want everything to work right, and the tach to be stable.
right after this it started misfiring, turned out to be bad plug wires which I change d out with stock Honda parts, no aftermarket stuff this time

For wires, you can also go with Aurora Wires. They are a company based in Abbotsford BC Canada and they offer lifetime warranty wires. You should never have to replace your wires again being they aren't carbon wire which wear out. They also will exchange single wires if you only have one that is dysfunctional. My next wire set will be from them. I believe the NGK and OEM wires are carbon based wires for noise reduction but they do wear out and require replacement fairly frequently. Aurora's are stainless teel alloy with a special Ferrite/Latex coating for superior noise reduction. This gives the same performance noise wise as the carbon base with the longevity of a metal conductor.
