Ball joint separation or inner/outer separation? I assume the latter.

Yup, Tried it. Even lubed it up after a couple hours of hitting it. I'm using a pickle fork and a 5lb mini sledge

Well I don't have any of those, but could you explain how I would go about doing that? Just out of curiosity

Lock one wrench on inner and one wrench on outer and then turn the wrenches in opposite directions for removal.

You could do the same with two big long open ended wrenches.

Oh! I thought we were still talking about removing the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle still! Thats why I was confused. Anyways I just got it, I finally just snapped and I swung the hammer out of rage and it came off xD Thanks for your help and quick replies!

I'm assuming by pickle fork and sledge you were actually having trouble seperatig the ball joint.

This is seriously the best tool Harbor Freight sells.

I've used this on tie rods that were so bound they literally sounded like a gunshot when finally seperated. EASY PEAZY, never takes more than 2 minutes to separate em now. Well worth the investment for the future!
