Default Performance chip - What do you guys think?

Hey guys Ive got a '93 B18C on my '94 Del Sol Si and I was recently looking into getting a cia, performance chip, headers, and maybe a tuneup if im left with some extra $$$. My budget is $750 and Im honestly not great at cars. So I was wondering... is this cia fine? and do these chips really change anything?

Also should I have any trouble with these fitting considering its a different motor? I mean I know theyre usually pretty universal but I want to be sure before making these purchases. Please try to be noob-friendly and Thank you in advance!

find and buy on ebay the cheapest possible 3" diameter short ram intake you can get. no chips. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not without a proper tune. socketing, chipping, and tuning will run you over your budget. one "budget" option with chipping is to send your ecu out to pherable.net. they will provide you with a base tune according to your specs, and chip your ecu for you for around $200 iirc. DO NOT EVER buy a "mugen" or any other blind tune chip off the internet.

Do a proper tune up first, then worry about upgrades.

Eg, that says they will install hondata s300 for 89+50?

do you know how that works? Hondata costs like $400.

edit. Oh, thanks for answering. I was perplexed.

yeah, you need to provide the s300. that covers the install. the basic service provides a chip. (28 pin blank chips are like a buck)
