Icon2 CRX Swap Tuning Problem

I got a crx b18b1 swap and just got done converting it to obd1. I got a chipped ecu and a chip burning with crome because its free. Its runs rich as rich could be and wont ideal. Been trying to tuning but can't get it right. I put a skunk 2 70mm intake, aem high flow fuel rail, injen cold air, 550 gram injectors, 255 walbor fuel pump. replaced the tps sensor and map sensor. ecu is giving codes for them and don't know why. If someone could help me or guide me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Have you tried swapping the map and tps plugs around?

Yes more than once. The tps has the red/black wire in the middle from my understanding is the right way.

With the key on/engine off:
1. Measure the voltage on the middle red wire running to the tps sensor while the sensor is plugged in. Is it .050 volts or within .005 ?
2. With the tps sensor plug unplugged Ohm test (continuity test) the red middle wire (pin) back to the tps pin at the obd1 ecu plug/pin D11 (http://www.phearable.net/images/tech...schematics.gif)
3. Double check that the tps sensor is getting 5 volts on the power wire (usually yellow) with the key on/engine off.
4. Double check that the tps ground is good using a meter (ohm test). Usually green.

This will hopefully help with troubleshooting the tps code.

Concerning the map sensor:
1. Test for 5v and good ground at the map sensor plug with the key on & engine off.
2. Test the continuity between the signal wire (usually white) at the map sensor plug & map sensor signal pin d17 on the ecu.
3. Check the voltage at d17 with the key on/engine off.

most of what is listed here can be resolved through the troubleshooting section in your repair manual. the rest can be resolved by reading the manual in my signature.

I checked all of that all has power and ground. All set up and good. I know when I change the tune to use .01 of the original and still run rich somethings up.

There's really no better troubleshooting we can give you that isn't in the repair manual. If it's not bad sensors, and it's not wiring, and it's not a bad ground, and it's not a bad main relay, it's your ecu.

Fair enough. I will get a new ecu.
