Default Coolant Reservoir Overflow

On my 98 accord i am experiencing following problems. I get goosebumps even to think of a bad head gasket. To my knowledge if Head Gasket is gone new one never lasts longer than a year or so........

1. On Long Trips car stays at normal temperature as long its moving.
2. On Short Trips and frequent go and stop situations, temperature rises and reservoir gets full and eventually overflows.
3. With radiator cap off, at idle I see NO bubbles but when i press throttle two things happens, first coolant tries to come out of radiator and on releasing throttle i see a few big bubbles. never stop always happen.
4. If reservoir tank is full as in step 2 and i leave car for some time then it gets back to its normal level.

are your fans coming on?
short stop go trips the car can overheat because of sitting there if the fans arent wrking but will be fine if youre moving alot because youre getting air through the radiator

why would you think a head gasket only lasts a year? maby if someone put it on who had no idea what they were doing, no reason a properly installed one wont last a long time

It is usually practice here. In my country i havent came across any workshop who has torque ratchet they always reface the head....... how can we expect it to work like that

no one has a torque wrench? if the car hasnt been overheated or run hot the head may not need to be resurfaced

Yeh no one. They trust their arm force, Honda Dealership may have but they dont like cars like mine. They straight away say we dont deal in altered car. I have engine changed.

On internet it says it could be bad radiator cap....... only if i could know what specs cap goes on radiator as sticker on my cap is torn off

A faulty radiator cap can cause a situation where it constantly allows coolant to go into the reservoir and cause it to overflow, after topping off the coolant be sure to properly bleed the system and replace the cap. If you're still concerned after that a compression test can never hurt

To test head gasket failure all you need to do is compression test the motor.
