Hey guys I have a 97prelude with a f20b swap that I just did an it was my first time so this is what's goin on I have a stock p28 ecu with a base map h22 chip now the car runs but it runs like crap It dumps to much fuel into the car an it gets into the motor oil witch is bad so i changed the oil like 3 times already !!when I give the car throttle it bogs down an wants to stall an it pops threw the intake an skips an wen it gets warmed up it's worse... I changed every sensor on the motor an re did the timimg all over an still nothing but when I had the h22 in there it ran fine I never had any problems with it so idk what to do I'm stumped I don't wanna give up also I changed the whole cabin an motor harness because the car use to be auto so I wanted every thing In it from a 5 speed motor but if any one can help please let me know thanks a lot

 

Last time i checked an f20b is not an h22 so why are you running an h22 basemap ?

 

That's what jdm engine told me to run an they told me to change the intake an oil pump

 

Get it running on the stock ecu first. Then if you want to tune it you can go that route. No major reason to use a chipped ecu on a stock motor.

 

You need to get that ECU tuned for that motor, the H22 is not the proper ECU to run a 2.0ltr motor.

 

I bought the pcb ecu that go's to that motor with the obd2a-obd2b jumper let's see how it works I should have it here by tomorrow

do not forget that pcb ecu needs 3 wire iacv

 

I don't need to I am using the top of a h22 intake manifold an the bottom of the f20b so I won't need a 3 wire

Ya you won't. If you use the top of the H22 mani with the bottom of the F20 it'll be fine. That's what I did while I was waiting for my Skunk 2 mani to be delivered.

 

We'll I used the top of the h22 manifold an the bottom of the f20b with the injectors an the pcb ecu for that motor an it run like it has no power I can't get it right at all I need major help

 

You can't run the PCB with a 2 wire IACV I don't believe.

 

What ecu should I run ??? Or what one are u running ??

 

If not the pcb then you need to have that p28 tuned, assuming it's been chipped.

 

Yea it's chipped but not with s300 or nothing like that what are u running

 

We'll I got that pcb ecu an my car still runs like **** with the pcb ecu the car has no power it will idle fine but when you give it has it has no power at all but wen u put the p28 it in at 4500 rpms it bogs out an when it gets warm up after driven it around the block or so it hesitates so I have no clue what to do any more

 

I run a chipped P28 with a basemap from Phearable atm. I'm gonna get it dyno tuned by Church as soon as I install the intake manifold and throttle body. I'd spend the $40 and get a basemap chip from Phearable for your P28 and go from there.

 

We'll it's getting tuned tomorrow now can I still use the bottom of the f20 intake with the f20 injectors an top of h22 intake to get it tuned or no ??

 

What injectors should I use because I have the bottom of the f20b intake manifold an the top of the h22 intake manifold.. I wanna run the h22 fuel rail so what injector should I use ??
