Default Full Throttle Shift in Crome free.

1995 Accord w/ built turbo F22B1, etc. Running a chipped P06 converted to P28.

After doing some research I found that pin B8 is supposed to be the pin for FTS in crome free. I wired everything up to the upper clutch switch(which was the only 2 pin, the lower switch was 3 pin), grounded one side and ran the other to B8. Set FTS to 5500 rpm in Crome and it didn't work. Nothing changed. Troubleshooted a little bit but couldn't really find anything erroneous. Does the pin orientation on the clutch switch matter? I didn't try switching the two leads.

Also the B8 wire color seems to differ in my Accord from what it's supposed to be in Civics. It's green as opposed to red with a green stripe.

Did I miss something? Anybody else been able to get FTS to work with crome free?

yes exactly... wire the pink wire to pin b8 on the ecu, and the other wire, i just grounded it out

Seems like you probably have the pin swapped backwards. You use the cruise control module, not the safety I guess. There should be one pin that has to be engaged for the motor to start. Hope that helps....even though I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I forgot to mention that my car is auto to 5 speed swapped and I don't have cruise. The safety and cruise switch aren't hooked up electronically and had nothing going to them before I attempted to make this work. That was the thread that I got my info from.

I think I'm going to make a trip to a junkyard soon to see if I can get a plug that will connect to the 2 pin switch. Right now I'm just using slide terminals and that makes it difficult to swap them or do anything. He states in that thread that it had to be in the lower threads too, I must have missed that.

Ah. Crucial information I suppose. I will say I've never done this and have no experience in it. So that's really the best I can offer. And it seems you started with searching already. Good luck. I hope it's an easy fix with the proper switch.

pretty sure it's in the manual in my sig, but honestly I only got it to work a handful of times before I abolished tuning anything on crome's free roms.
