Default My MoonRoof is leaking/ HELP!

I have a 95 SE with a factory moonroof. Recently I've noticed that the headliner/ceiling, above the sunvisors and to the rear of the moonroof, is a little wet/moist whenever it rains hard. How Do I fix this problem.

thanks

If there is water on mine, like the morning after it rains, and I open the 'roof while driving, it just pours into the cabin. Is it supposed to do this? Or do I have a bad/worn seal or something? Seems like they would've designed it with a high enough ridge on the front to prevent water from pouring onto people at the angle that the 'roof opens. I do have an OEM sunroof wind deflector, so maybe the water isn't getting blown away like it should.

it's a 95 so it's not under warranty, if i take it to the dealer, what will they do? and how much? Is there a way I could fix it myself by going to autostores and get something to seal it?

Dude

All you have to do is pull your rear panels. Locate each tube 1 on the left rear and 1 on the right rear. There is bunch of debris clogging the tubes where the ends are at near the wheelwell. Take your fingers stick in the tube to clear the debris. You may also want to open the roof and look at the front 2 holes and see if they aren't plugged as well. I dont have the coupe but should be somewhat similar.

I just slapped the rear panals back, you should have replied earlier...now I have to rip them apart again. . So exactly how's the tube located? I want to go right at it? how big is the tube?

your drain tubes are probably clogged w/ dirt, leaves, etc... the tubes are probably 1/2" or maybe 3/8" just stick a pipe cleaner to clear the debris..

after it rains and if there is still water on the roof and moonroof glass.. if i tilt/open the moonroof water comes down.. or if i have it tilted/open and I brake water comes down into the cabin also...

You can also look on the antenna (It also has a drain tube) and follow it to the main drain tube on the left side.
