Where will the heater core leak ??
Ok, my 03 civic is losing water, looks like it might be dripping from the right hand side just behind the wheel....I know that's where the condensation from the AC comes from as well....
well considering it is summer, I would say yes.. any exposed metal parts in the AC system (connectors, condenser body, etc) that are chilled by the outflowing cold air will "sweat" when the warmer ambient air touches the cold metal. If its not dripping then you have a problem. An would most likely need to clean out the drain..
could be a leak in your water jacket as well, but i highly doubt it. If you want to be sure have someone start your car and you look around with a flash light an pin point the leak an then come back and tell us. Im sure its your ac. the heater core doest leak water bro.
I guess I didn't make it plain when I said with AC not working and water leaking from the place I noted...if my AC is not working it will not condensate and no water will leak from AC sweet, but if my heater core is defective yes it will leak, just asking could it leak some coolant from the rubber drain hose..........
