I am having difficulty fixing the issue

1. Ignition key is not in, yet climate control buttons will light up

2. The fan speed doesnt work (1-4)

What can it be

 

I'm sensing there is a lot of backstory not being told here.

 

I recently bought it.. Why would the climate control lights come on even though my key is not even in

 

What has been done to the car? Wiretuck? Hacked harnesses? Did you bother to ask the previous owner? Keep on with the vaguery and you'll not get any useful replies.

 

Do the Millenium Falcon trick and hit the top of the HVAC controls and see if anything happens. If so it could be a damaged connector in the back of the controls.

 

the cigeritte lighter doesnt work, original stock stereo works, although blown speakers in the back

the climate control buttons light up without key like wtf

i remove the under dash panel thing where the cigerette lighter is, there was nothing done to the wires, everything is original

nobody even unplugged the radio, all stock,
it doesnt appear to be even have opened for its lifetime, as there was such much dust and debris that i was like "wow"

 

what can i check?

the fuse's all seem to be fine


why is the climate control also not working? is the air motor broken? how do i check

 

The climate control lights are controlled by the light switch. Test the switch.

Are the taillights and parking lights also on?

 

Tail lights and headlights all work fine. Light switch functions like it should

 

Take it to a dealership.

All you keep saying is everything is fine when it isn't. You don't explain how you know it's fine.

You were told to test the switch. How did you do that exactly?
Flick it on and off? This seems to be beyond your skill level to fix over the internet.
