aftermarket pistons and valve components for 90 ex
is there any aftermarket pistons or valve train components for the f22a4?? pleez help me. i heard that arias made pistons for this engine but im not sure.
Well, dude, you can pretty much get any piston for any car.
Once you start doing internals like that, there is no cheap way around it. Might as well do rods, pins, valves, springs, etc. I'd skip it if the motor is in a car unless you want to make a record-setting monster F motor. If the motor is already on an engine stand that's fine, but is there where you want to spend your money?

This is one of those rare times where I'll be helpful...
Arias does make pistons for the F22A engine. They run about $450-500. You can get the stock 8.8:1 compression or bump up to 11:1. from what I hear, the F series rods are essentially the same as the H23 rods and are pretty stout in stock form but if you want to upgrade the rods as well, Crower makes some for the F series with the same part # for H23 rods.
http://www.raceeng.com makes pistons for the F series as well. Slightly more reasonable at $369 with the same comp ratios. But who knows about quality. Also look around at raceeng and you can get Ferrea valves for the F22.
There's some debate about whether or not the F22 has an iron sleeve or an FRM sleeve which would require you to resleeve the engine with iron sleeves and you're looking at $1000+ for parts and labor, But from what I've read and heard from a few shops the F22B has the FRM cylinder liner and the F22A does not have FRM.... but I'm going to be ordering pistons pretty soon and I figured I'd give Honda of America a call to confirm this before I buy the pistons...
but trust me the piston slap from aftermarket pistons will make your motor sound like a funky diesel POS until they get up to operating temps. just fyi.
http://www.webcam.com does regrinds on the F22 cam as does http://www.gude.com
Let us F22 die hards know how it goes.... and don't listen to the H22 jackasses...

hmmmmmmmmm...actually some pretty damn good advice. anyone out there kno if a head swap from a 5th gen motor will do any good (if its possible?)
bla bla bla... do a search.
yes just about any F head would swap on, but the effort might negate the gains. The head you wanna look into probobly is the F22B1 head. You could do that swap fairly cheap.
Far as pistons go you'd be doing an oversize no matter what you do so..
