Eliminate O2 sensors
Hi there
I hope someone helps me: i've a EE8 with a stock pw0. My O2 sensor 2 is damaged so I want to remove the o2 sensors because they're realy expensive
Doing it in ECU map i only have to disable them or should i do something else in ignition or fuel map?
Thanks a lot!

I guess I can do it anyway just disabling lambda sensors in ECU program.
I just want anyone to confirm that to make it more safe to me. Thanks a lot

Thank you guys but.. I've already bought some O2 sensor aftermarket and my car really didnt like. So when i said its realy expensive was about honda oem parts. In my local honda parts shop they asked me for 200 usd
That NTK ones, do you have some feedback about?
Thanks

NTK = NGK and they make pretty good O2 sensors.
Denso is also good and both of those companies make OEM sensors.
I've personally used Bosch sensors and never had a problem however they are said not to be as good as NTK or Denso.
Your engine isn't running the best it can. You have disabled the ability for the ECU to make changes to adjust fuel for best performance.
The "disable O2" setting is mainly for tuning so the ECU doesn't make changes between dyno runs. Drag cars might use the option as well since the ECU doesn't use the O2 in WOT.

Use Ben O's tuning software (BRE) and disable them if you are dead set on it. I haven't heard of ECU map. I believe you can set it in Open Loop and it will just pull data from tables.
BLU makes a good point, but his car was professionally tuned. I would guess the stock tables are as good as they can get though, so you shouldn't have any issue.
